What is ninja training at Urban Warriors?
Urban Warriors · Tukwila, Washington · The program
Urban Warriors is a movement program in Tukwila that combines influences from martial arts, parkour and gymnastics through coached challenges, courses, games and teamwork. Kids practise physical skills while learning to adapt, encourage others and work together. It is a program of its own rather than a single-discipline class.

What students actually do
The kids program uses a full warm-up followed by movement challenges, courses, games and varied setups. Students practise skills such as balance, coordination, climbing and jumping. The challenge gives the movement a purpose: judge a distance, find an approach, adjust it and try again.
Why teamwork matters
Urban Warriors connects physical practice with thinking beyond yourself. A class can ask a child to encourage a teammate, communicate during a shared task or notice when someone needs help. Adaptation and teamwork are part of the program's purpose, not just extras after exercise.
How it relates to familiar activities
Martial arts, parkour and gymnastics all influence the movement vocabulary. The program brings those influences into its own class format. If your family is comparing activities, look at the actual class experience and what your child wants to practise rather than treating “ninja” as a universal curriculum shared by every gym.
Who can try it?
Kids classes are grouped into ages 6–8 and 9–12, and teen/adult training has its own format. Start with a free demo to see the program or a $35 one-hour trial to experience a group session.
